As a mom and entrepreneur the ability to do both is always a bit of a juggling and balancing act.
Today, I was able to combine business and family time with a fun-filled day at Indiana Caverns in Corydon, Indiana. I took my Director of Personality along for the ride to discuss some new marketing ideas. While we were there we took the opportunity to go on a cave tour and take in the fascinating wonders this cave has to offer!
Indiana Caverns is one of the oldest caves and newest attractions to Southern Indiana. It opened to the public 2013, however it’s been around for at least 12,000 years with many Ice Age bones as proof of it. Most of the bones were from flat-headed pecarries that herded together in the ice age, but black bear, fishers, and bison bones were also included on our tour.
The cave tour is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes long which was great for the attention span of my Mr. Personality. It included a fun, guided tour learning about cave life, spectacular views of formations and a 35′ waterfall, a unique boat ride taking you back into the depths of total darkness, sightings of the ice age bones, and more.
This is a must-see cave with many exciting excursions for all ages. They are open 9am – 5pm daily so go plan your family day-trip there now!
